Our Story: The Heart Behind Abundantlea

Where Strength, Purpose, and Modest Workout Apparel Meet

In 2021, my world shifted when my husband suffered a stroke. Through that season, I experienced God’s love in a deeper way and began developing a true relationship with Him. I’ve always been an avid gym-goer, and as my faith grew, so did my desire to honor God in every part of my life, including how I dressed while training. It was then that I noticed a significant gap: modest activewear that truly fit and performed like traditional gym apparel was hard to find. From that realization, a calling was born to create modest workout apparel that empowers women to move confidently, stay covered, and honor their values. Abundantlea is more than clothing; it’s a testimony. It reminds us that even in life’s hardest seasons, God is faithful, and when you clothe yourself in strength and dignity, you reflect His glory.

At Abundantlea, our mission is to equip women with modest workout apparel that empowers them to move with confidence, strength, and purpose. We understand how frustrating it is when activewear lacks performance or fails to honor your body and your values. Inspired by prayer, personal hardship, and years of witnessing the resilience of women, our designs reflect a deeper calling: to create high-quality, modest pieces that help women train boldly and stay covered so they can focus on their goals, embrace their strength, and honor their values.

The Heart and Intention Behind Every Sustainable Stitch

Intentional design, thoughtful production.

Before starting Abundantlea, I didn’t realize the complexity behind each garment or that many workers overseas weren’t being paid fairly or treated with dignity. That inspired me to meet every manufacturer and partner only with those who uphold proven social sustainability standards. Each style we create takes a full year of designing, refining, and fitting multiple prototypes on various fit models until the fit is truly right. Fast fashion skips this care, producing in weeks, which is why the fit often suffers. And because waste is one of the biggest issues in the industry, we keep production modest and intentional, never rushing or overproducing.
